COME RIDE THE POLAR EXPRESS....... For 12 nights in December you can take part in a magical experience....a unique adventure that helps young and old alike once again believe in the Magic of Santa Claus.
Be transported to the North Pole of the White Mountains of New Hampshire on the famous "Polar Express". Meet the elves and of course, Santa himself.
This winter experience is based on the award winning book written and Illustrated by Chris Vab Allsburg. This family event will take you inside the book and will be recreated by the boy (now grown old). The train departs from both North Conway and Lincoln each night. All passengers will be dressed in PJs to get ready to visit the North Pole.
This tale of a boy who finds Santa will warm you heart, along with the Hot Cocoa in this wonderful winter family event. The Polar Express Event is a fundraiser for the "Believe in Books" Literacy Foundation; hundreds of volunteers wear costumes to create the experience.
About 20,000 guests ride the Polar Express train each year; the event is so popular that tickets are sold by a lottery system. Fortunately, it's also possible to get tickets as part of a package at various lodges and inns that are sponsors of the event.
