This NH State Park is pet-friendly. Located about seven miles east of Errol and two miles west of Upton, Me. on the south end of Umbagog Lake. The park is open from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend and campground reservations can be made by calling the toll-free phone below.
A small fee (around $4) is charged to use the park per adult.
It is not uncommon to view local wildlife; birds, osprey, moose, bear, deer. The base campground has direct beach access to the lake, canoe, kayak, rowboat and motorboat rentals, a camp store, flush and pit toilets, and coin-operated showers.
Umbagog State Park also features a boat launch, boating(all), boat rentals, camping, camping(primitive/remote), camping youth group, dump station, fishing, flush toilets, guided tours, pets allowed (some restrictions), picnicking, rv hookups / electrical, showers (pay), store/gift shop/concessions, swimming
