White Mountain 4,000 Foot High Mountain Hikes
The White Mountains range spans the northernmost quarter of the state of New Hampshire and includes both an extensive Appalachian Mountain Trail System and multiple peaks that reach over 4, 000 feet. New Hampshire 4,000 Foot Mountain Hikes
This list of White Mountain Four Thousand Footers is provided by the Four Thousand Footer Club. The AMC (Appalachian Mountain Club) provides a similar list of the states 4000-foot peaks. The Four Thousand Footer Club, however, was formed in 1957 to introduce hikers to some of the lesser-known sections of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Today the Club recognizes three lists of peaks:
