Museum resides in a historic house built in 1806 by Abel Blake, one of the first permanent settlers on the Upper Ashuelot. Colony family heirlooms, souvenirs of world travel, ornate decor. Seasonal, winter hours by appointment.

An 1833 cookhouse, features Greek rival architecture, and a glimpse at 19th-century schooling.

The Wyman Tavern Museum

Wyman Tavern, built in 1762, was the site of the first meeting of the Dartmouth College Trustees in 1770 and the gathering place of Keene’s Revolutionary Minutemen in April 1775. Tours of the Tavern are by appointment only.
