New Hampshire marriage licenses cost $50.00 –Â the fee is set by the state, the application may be used anywhere in NH, and the license fee is non-refundable. You may obtain a NH marriage license application at any N.H. Town Clerk’s office. Find a list of New Hampshire Towns here. When you pay for your NH marriage license you will be given a worksheet which is to be filled out by the groom and bride-to-be. The license is valid for 90 days – once married you may request a certified copy of the marriage license for a nominal fee.
If you have been married before additional paperwork will be necessary for you to obtain a marriage license.
